Reign of the Snow Queen

Here is a new Etsy treasury by VintageCornucopia121 I am privileged to appear in, and I am posting it specially for my darling Scarecrow who is all covered with snow in the vast wasteland of Iowa-aaay!

Snow Queen Fairytale

The mention of snow queen conjures up the most magical thoughts of sparkly and frosty beauty…this treasury captures that for me! Enjoy!

  1. In the realm of cornstalks and sty
In the faraway Kingdom of Iwegia
    Everyone casts a squintfull eye
Heavenly towards the orange orb in the sky
    “What’s that? Whats’ that?”
    They all did cry
Bright as can be and warmth doust abound
Where faerie poo should cover every blade on the ground
Tis not and none can be found
With eyes akimbo they did the limbo
    And rejoiced as never before
    “Today it’s gonna be a mighty 54.”
“Hurray, hurray,” say all as they went about the fray
“No more shovels, no more boots, no more gloves.”
    Then the King did speak
“My back does not ache from the shovel’s wake and my nose does not run,
my ears are not bitten, no need for mittens and warm as can be is my bum.”

Something sinister lurks here…http://www.broowaha.com/…be afraid, be very afraid….

    • Best laugh I’ve had since the last time you wrote! It took me a bit to figure out that the link ends at “.com/” and then to find your profile. I joined so I could rate and comment on a couple of your contributions; maybe someday I’ll write something, too. Nah, don’t want to compete with you, oh knight errant and doer of daring do’s! Mwah!

  2. We’ve have had no snow this year in the south west of England, so am feeling miffed at missing out on the snowmen! it’s so mild here this year that snowdrops and primroses have already appeared in all our narrow country lanes.
Best Wishes from England Elizabeth Andrews

  3. Where’s the pea-pod pixy of the swamplands?

Did you know that getting a woman to change her mind has been proven to be impossible, and is now one of the miracles required by the Roman Catholic Church to become a Saint…What? What? Would I just make this stuff up?…

    • Yes, I totally believe you would make up something JUST like that. You don’t have me fooled, my scarecrow Knight of the frozen wastelands of corny Ioway. I’m finally feeling a bit better and can now harass you with unbridled fervor, so watch out (I don’t want Puff to get in the way of fire). Mwah!
