Herbs Can Take the Bite Out of Winter
I’m a great believer in the power of herbs, and if I can’t grow them myself or get them fresh locally, I trust implicitly the folks at Mountain Rose Herbs. Their quality is excellent, their prices are great (especially with quantity discounts), delivery is fast, and shipping costs are reasonable. For each herb and spice, contemporary and folklore information is provided, which can be extraordinarily interesting and helpful.
Their monthly newsletter is also very informative and I thought I would share with you some items from this issue that are of particular interest (click on the title to check out the article):

Thanks for sharing….very informative. xoxo
Tis my honor; this is a great company. They just received the 2008 Co-Op
America Peoples Choice Award. Their environmental and ecological policies,
along with their sustainability projects, are simply outstanding. And
they’re located in Eugene, OR, just a hop, skip and a jump from where my
mother and sister, and my dear faerie friend, Rhiannon, who all live in
Roseburg. Eugene is also host to the annual Faerieworld Festival, which is
held at The Secret House Winery; 2009 will be their 9tn year. Eugene is
also the home of the incredible musical ensemble called Woodland. If I
couldn’t live in central Florida, I believe I’d head to Eugene, OR!!
