Take this fun quiz called “Guess the Spot” and see if you can name the landmark with an aerial view of the location.
I scored 10 out of 16 correctly, which makes me “world wise” (or else a very good guesser!).

I got 14/16… I missed the Alamo (I have been there, but I swear it does not look like that) and Copacabana (Rio). Everything else was pretty easy but I had to think about Wrigley field – that’s the only ballpark I have been to out of the four that were listed. You can tell Wrigley because the L runs right past the right side, running north and south.
Fun quiz!
Hey Marvin
I am soooo jealous! My friend Sand got 14, too! She missed Bush’s Ranch and Rio. I missed the Alamo, too, because I just couldn’t believe it was in such an urbanized area. When I went back before @!#$let’s#$%)not@#(#go!@#(there@%*$($, it was still located out in the desert, like a fort should be! And even though I know Bush’s “ranch” is this itty bitty one room shack with only cold running water that you have to pump yourself, I thought it at least had six more trees than were in that pic. Everyone I know missed Rio (who knew, except people who do the whole Brazilian tan, bikini wax and thong up the crack, that place even existed?). And I am still trying to figure out what part of Epcot that Disney pic is supposed to be…and I live in Orlando! Geesh! And I guess that Pisa Tower just wasn’t leaning enough for me, ‘cuz I missed that one, too. Then, when it came to the ball parks, well, I have to confess, I did the eanie meanie miney moe and it didn’t work! So only 10 out of 16 for me and now you know why.
But good on you, you Martian! Alien sight-seers always notice things we earthlings just take for granted! What planet are you tackling next?
Kat
I admit , I had to stare at these photos for awhile. And I guessed on Crawford TX – had ZERO idea about that. It looked hot and barren, as so much of Texas is. And I guessed on Epcot also – I was there in 1987 but I expect that it’s changed a little bit.
Earth and the Moon are interesting enough to study, for now. Eventually perhaps Saturn.
Have a wonderful day!
